Prize Distribution

Overview

Basic Rules

  • Entry fees contribute 70% to the prize pool
  • Prizes are awarded to , at least, the top 50% of players
  • Players with tied scores share prizes equally
  • If players score exceptionally higher than others, they may receive a bonus reward instead of a tier reward.
  • Remaining coins are distributed by tier weight first, then one by one to players (skipping tied groups that cannot all receive a coin)

Calculation Process

  1. Calculate fixed rewards based on tier placement.
  2. Calculate bonus rewards for exceptionally high scoring players
  3. Scale prizes proportionally to match total prize pool
  4. Distribute scaled prizes to players
  5. Distribute remaining coins by tier weight, prioritizing top tiers

Bonus Rewards
  • In some cases, players with exceptionally high scores compared to others may receive a bonus reward instead of a tier reward.
  • This is rare, but can happen when the score difference between players is very large, and there are just a few players above the high scoring player.
  • In most cases, players will receive their standard tier-based rewards.

Example with 100 players & 100 coin entry
Note: These are coins before scaling factor is applied

This is a normal prize distribution where scores are distributed evenly, you can see how normal tier amounts are always higher than bonus amounts.
